We expect the highest standard of conduct from every member in our club. New and existing members are bound by and are expected to support our Codes of Conduct. Any breach will be met with suspension of membership. Membership may be terminated pending the severity of the breach.

Team Managers

Our club prides itself on the level of conduct which is observed by all players, spectators, parents and coaches within our club.

The Team Manager is responsible for the day to day administration of the team and provides support to the Coach. The Team Manager can also act as a liaison between parents, the Coach and the Age Group Coordinator if required.

At the beginning of the season you will be provided a list of players in your team, your coach and training details.

Key responsibilities:

  • Game Day Organisation
Create a roster for each family to score throughout the season and a few days before the game please check the Diamond Valley Basketball Associations webpage for the week’s fixture and advise all parents in your team and who is scoring via preferred team communication platform.
  • Organise Clash Tops
Clash Tops are required when your team is playing another Thunder team or playing Northern Saints. If your team is playing another Thunder team then the team with the highest number must organise and wear the clash tops. For example, If Thunder U10(2) are playing Thunder U10(1) then Thunder U10(2) must arrange and wear the clash tops. The Team Manager is responsible for collecting and returning the Clash Tops.
Contact Hallie Stephens on 0412 054 441 to organise. Please give as much time as possible to arrange the tops and return promptly.
  • Fill-In Players
Check all players availability to play and if you are very short of numbers please advise your coach and contact your Coordinator to see if a player can fill in (we try very hard not to forfeit a game).
Please refer to the Fill-In Player Policyfor more information.
  • Most Valuable Player (MVP)
Each season the club awards a MVP trophy to the Under 12 to 18 age groups. Please refer to the Most Valuable Player Policy for process and guidelines.
